After working with professionals from over 100 countries within the United Nations community, I’ve learned that real communication growth isn’t just about perfecting grammar or pronunciation, it’s about clarity, purpose, and confidence. My greatest motivation comes from hearing their stories: their homelands, challenges, and dreams to make a greater difference and partnering with them to help bring those dreams to life.
I’m Heidi Jensen, founder of Maximum Global Impact Communications and Success Coaching. I empower global professionals to overcome English communication barriers, strengthen leadership presence, and create a clear, actionable roadmap for meaningful impact on the global stage.
A Journey Rooted in Communication and Cross-Cultural Service
Early Foundations
My coaching journey began shortly after university, when my father encouraged me to join a public speaking program. What began as a personal development step quickly grew into a passion. I eventually became a graduate coach, supporting others as they grew their confidence. A few months later, I was on a plane to Japan, teaching English in church-based community programs to students of all ages.
Learning Japanese in a real-world environment taught me firsthand the challenges of acquiring a new language for daily communication - lessons that would deeply inform my work later on.
Global Teaching Experience
Returning to New York, I began facilitating Conversational English and Bible discussion classes for spouses in the diplomatic community. Later, I joined the United Nations English Language Programme, where I taught part-time from 2007 to 2024. Each role deepened my understanding of the diverse needs of these global professionals and the unique communication challenges they face in high-impact roles.

Heidi Jensen holds a Master of Education (TESOL) from Regent University and served as a part-time Language Instructor in the United Nations English Language Programme from 2007 to 2024.
